Call for Poster and Demo Papers

The Network of the Future (NoF) conference is the premier annual conference that covers advances in Future Internet design, with emphasis on enabling technologies, architectures, and services.

This year NoF includes an exciting track on posters and demonstrations (demos), which complements the research discussion in an interactive way with real-world testbed implementations. The NoF 2017 poster and demo sessions are intended to showcase works-in-progress. Poster and demo proposals should focus on novel developments around the Future Internet. Topics of interest are the same as those listed in the main track call for papers, including, but not limited to: vertical use case demonstration (smart cities, eHealth, transport, etc.), software based networks (e.g., SDN, NFV, autonomous networks), cloud computing, mobile edge computing, network security, radio access networks (small cells, massive MIMO, cloud RAN), IoT/Machine-to-Machine networking, Fronthaul/Backhaul transport networks.

The posters and demos track is an opportunity to present novel prototypes and sharing the main lessons learnt from practical implementations and on-going projects.

Submission guidelines
We strongly encourage both student and industry submissions. Both posters and demos should be accompanied by a three-page paper, which will be published in the conference proceedings. We specifically encourage submissions of posters and demos that are accompanied with datasets.

Papers must be submitted in a PDF format via EDAS on
https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=23528&track=86668

During the initial submission process via EDAS, the authors are required to make sure that the pdf file and EDAS registration page of the paper have the same list of authors, paper title, and abstract. The authors of an accepted paper can NOT be changed in the final version.

All submissions should be written in English with a length of three (3) double-column printed pages including figures and references.

All papers must be formatted according to the IEEE manuscript template for conference proceedings. At least 1 author of each accepted paper must be registered to the conference as presenter in order to appear in the conference proceedings. Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EDAS. Please contact the posters and demos chairs if you have any question about submitting your paper.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
